Natural alpaca insoles from Austria | from animal-friendly farming | felt insoles

The alpaca wool used for these soles comes from a small herd at the Schopperhof farm in Tarsdorf, Upper Austria, very close to the Himal Hemp warehouse: Schopperhof-Alpakas.at.
There, the animals have their own names and live a happy life in the fresh air with good food from the farm's own organic production.

The wool harvested at Schopperhof is processed into felt inserts in a communal mill, together with wool from other farms. Each farm receives felt inserts according to the weight of wool received.
Thanks to the phenomenal properties of Apaka wool, the shoe insoles ensure pleasantly warm feet during the cold season.
They are also ideal for the warmer months, as they regulate moisture very well and have an odor-inhibiting effect. Just try them!
The natural latex underside of the rubber tree ensures a good hold for the insoles.
The inserts can also be easily cut to smaller sizes.

Only farm-grown feed such as hay, grown without artificial fertilizer, is used for feeding the alpacas. The alpacas' droppings serve as natural fertilizer.

The wool for our felt insoles comes from a family farm to which we pay very fair prices. The alpacas are family members there and have their own names.

The alpacas graze in Austria, and the processing into the finished sole also takes place in Austria: Our shoe insoles therefore do not have long transport routes.

Alpacas are very gentle on their pastures, as they only pluck the grass and leave roots in the ground.
