The lining of these "tote bags" is made from recycled traditional Nepalese women's dresses – saris. The colors of the lining therefore vary – each piece is unique!

This product is manufactured in Nepal in a factory that processes hemp from fiber to finished product. This factory prioritizes the training of its workers and provides support in case of illness. Fair production and the use of organic or recycled raw materials are paramount in all our products.

The old saris (traditional Nepalese women's clothing) are collected in the immediate neighborhood, then washed, cut and woven by hand into colorful fabrics on mechanical looms.
