It's slightly wider than an A4 sheet of paper and features a layer of recycled rice sacks for splash protection. In addition to the flap closure, it also has a zipper. It includes adjustable straps and a handy zippered pocket inside!

We work with various small and medium-sized businesses in Nepal that are committed to fair production, promoting women's rights, and/or supporting disadvantaged communities. This bag was made in a small family-run business with whom we collaborate closely, including on the designs.
Himal Hemp's entire concept is based on fair and socially responsible value creation and aims to enable as many people as possible in Nepal to live a life of dignity through their own work. We document each step of the production process and work directly with the producers in a constructive dialogue. In Nepal, this direct and personal approach is currently the only way to produce under appropriate working conditions, pay fair wages, and simultaneously ensure high product quality.
