Our heatable sausages made with organic cotton and wooden bead cords are the perfect gift idea! Ideal for both experienced hot water bottle users and those who haven't yet had the pleasure of enjoying a heatable sausage.
Seriously, we tested this product ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed it. All five testers thought the prototypes we received were fantastic (and never returned them :D). But see for yourself!

Instructions for use: If the sausage is only half filled, it will fit very snugly against the body!

Please only wash the cover and not the rubber tube in the washing machine.
Texture "with stripes": Cotton knit (520 g/m²):
Washable at 30 degrees
Texture "even": Double-faced or Selanik knit fabric made of organic cotton (330-350 g/m²):
Wash by hand in warm water or on a gentle cycle up to 40°C with a delicate/wool detergent; tumble dry on low heat (gentle cycle); iron if necessary, use a low temperature setting; do not dry clean, do not bleach

This social business offers job opportunities in a secure environment and thus functions as a (re)integration project into the labor market: heidenspass creates meaningful work and develops wonderful upcycled design products.
In Graz, we are currently testing hot dogs with upcycled terry cloth covers, with very promising initial results.

The high-quality, robust fabric, natural rubber and the solid cord with wooden beads allow for a very long service life.
Tip: For gentle use, use water that is approximately 50°C hot; this is already pleasantly warm and protects the rubber seal and closure.

The cord is made from 80% recycled cotton. The entire product is very easy to disassemble into its components for easy recycling after extended use.

Our hot sausage contains no animal products.

The avoidance of strong chemical pesticides and herbicides in cotton production protects the health of farm workers. Furthermore, this avoidance leads to greater biodiversity in the growing area, thereby protecting the soil and enriching it with nutrients.
